Professional Membership
Professional membership is available to those practitioners who meet a minimum education requirement and have a minimum level of experience within the field of behaviour analysis. Professional Membership does not constitute CBA or CBA-U certification or ABA Australia endorsement of the person as a behaviour analyst.
Requirements for Professional Membership

Education
Undergraduate or graduate degree (AQF level 7 or 8, or equivalent in your country of study) in any field.

Work Experience
1,000 hours of work experience in the field of behaviour analysis which must cover the following areas:
Conducting functional behaviour assessments
Developing behaviour support plans
Monitoring program progression
Training relevant stakeholders
Working directly with clients
Program development

Location
Live or work in Australia.
Note: Professional Members are encouraged to have sufficient English language proficiency to communicate effectively with clients, families, colleagues and other professionals, and to support safe and effective professional practice.
