ABA Australia 2020 Conference

Rydges World Square is located in Sydney's Central Business District (CBD) and is accessible by all transport modalities including car, bus, train, and shuttle. Three train stations (Town Hall, Museum & Central stations) are only a short 10 minute walk and there are many main bus routes along Oxford, Elizabeth & George streets. Sydney Airport is located just 13 minutes by train from the city. Airport Link offers a fast and convenient way to reach the conference venue with trains running approximately every 10 minutes. The train station is located at the northern end of the Sydney Airport international terminal and is accessible from the Arrivals level; the train also stops at the domestic airport terminal.
Exit the train at Town Hall station, or Museum station, then see the attached map for the 10 minute walk to Rydges World Square. It is necessary to purchase an Opal Card from the station.

Airport Shuttle bus
For visitors arriving from Sydney Airport, there are a number of Airport Shuttle buses that service the Town Hall/conference venue area. The shuttle service costs around $16 per person per trip. - A taxi from Sydney Airport to Rydges World Square costs about $49; after 10 pm the price increases to around $56.

For locals driving with their own cars, Rydges World Square offers valet parking at a flat rate of $60.00 per day.
Passport And Visa
With the exception of New Zealand, travel visas are required to enter Australia from all other countries around the world. All visitors from another country other than Australia or New Zealand will need a visa and a valid passport or other acceptable travel document to enter Australia. Additionally, all travellers entering Australia will need to complete and sign an Incoming Passenger Card, which includes declarations you will need to make about your health and character.
Passports must be valid for at least six (6) months after your planned arrival into Australia. Please ensure your passport is at least valid until 2021 before applying for a Visitor Visa to Australia to avoid any delays or refusal.
There are many visa options available to people wishing to visit Australia. The appropriate visa option will depend, among other things, on the person's purpose for visiting Australia.
Visa Application Declaration
ABA Australia is NOT authorized to assist any Visa application works. The only document that we can provide is an Invitation Letter issued by the Conference Committee.
We understand there’re some embassies require Letter of Guarantee. Hence, we’d like to emphasise that Letter of Invitation is different from Letter of Guarantee.
Letter of Invitation:
A Letter of Invitation is a proof that your paper submission and registration application are accepted by the conference committee. It perhaps could help with your visa application. However, it does not guarantee you a visa.
Letter of Guarantee:
A Letter of Guarantee is an individual/party agrees to be legally and financially responsible for your staying during your visit in the country you’re going to. ABA Australia does not and will not provide such document.
In conclusion, please take note that ABA Australia does not issue organisation registration letter, guarantee letter, schedule of staying letter, local sponsor letter, governmental format invitation letter, and etc.
Should your application be denied, ABA Australia cannot change the decision of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, nor will we engage in discussion or correspondence with the MOFA or the Embassy on behalf of the applicant. The registration fee cannot be refunded are provided as per stated in the terms and conditions.
Letter of Invitation
If requested, ABA Australia will offer invitation letters to persons who have registered and paid the complete registration fee. The letter will provide proof of registration and proof of payment. Invitation Letters may be obtained by contacting the conference committee at email@example.com. Please note that when applying for your Visa you should include a copy of your conference registration confirmation.
Please note this procedure is intended to assist participants who need to obtain a visa or permission to attend the conference. It is not an official invitation covering fees and other expenses. It does not imply any financial support from the conference.
