Notice is hereby given that the Special General Meeting of Association for Behaviour Analysis Australia Ltd (ABA Australia) will be held virtually on 23/09/2021 at 1pm AEST.

MATTERS OF BUSINESS:

1. To consider and, if thought fit, to pass the following as a special resolution: “That, in accordance with section 136(2) of the Corporations Act 2001 (Cth), ABA Australia’s Constitution be modified by making the amendments contained in the document tabled at the Special General Meeting and signed by the Chair for the purposes of identification.”

2. ***IF the constitution amendments pass, to appoint the following Directors: Chief Operating Officer, Secretary, and Treasurer under the rules of the new constitution.

Persons eligible to vote on the resolutions proposed at the special general meeting are Professional Members who do not have any fees which are due and payable by the Member to ABA Australia, and are Members as of 26/08/2021.

All votes shall be given personally or by proxy.

The special general meeting will consider the matters of business outlined above. A copy of the constitution, marked to show the proposed changes to it, together with an Explanatory Memorandum, is available from ABA Australia’s website (www.auaba.com.au) in the members only section. A link will be sent to Members eligible to vote on 26/08/2021.

Each Member entitled to vote can appoint a proxy by notice to be returned to the Association Secretary no later than 22/09/2021 at 1pm. A proxy may be provided to ABA Australia via an online form that will be sent to eligible Members on 26/08/2021. Alternatively, this form can be downloaded from www.auaba.com.au in the members only section or obtained from ABA Australia administrative Assistant, Claire Connolly, by email to admin@auaba.com.au
