Professional Development

For the 2025 Annual Conference, ABA Australia will be processing Professional Development Units (PDUs) and/or BACB Continuing Education (CEs). Delegates are responsible for signing in and out of each session. It is recommended that delegates download the conference app to sign in and out. ABA Australia volunteers will be in each room to assist delegates sign in and out of the session who are unable to use the app. Delegates should first contact ABA Australia regarding PDU/CE issues for the 2025 Annual Conference.

ABA Australia staff will make its best effort to post each delegates's total PDUs/CEs earned from events within two weeks.  Certificates will be sent through email to all attendees, as well an email announce will be sent on how to sign in and download certificates.  In the event that a delegate has an outstanding balance with ABA Australia of any kind, ABA Australia may choose not to release that attendees PDUs/CE certificate until said balance has been covered.

CERTIFICATE OF ATTENDANCE

Delegates who would like to submit contact hours to a professional development organisation will have the opportunity to track sessions they attend during the conference and receive a "Certificate of Attendance" listing the sessions attended. Use the conference app to track attendance.  Delegates must sign in and out of each session, if this does not occur the delegate will not receive attendance credit for that session. 

ABA Australia Professional Development Units

Delegates who are active members of ABA Australia are entitled to receive ABA Australia PDUs and BACB CEs. This is a member benefit. To record attendance at each session delegates must use the conference app. Delegates must sign in and out of each session, if this does not occur the delegate will not receive attendance credit for that session. 

BACB Learning Continuing education

ABA Australia is an ACE provider and will offer Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBAs) and Board Certified Assistant Behaviour analysts (BCaBAs) Learning and Teaching CEs from the Behavior Analyst Certification Board. Most of the sessions at the conference are eligible for BACB CEs. If you purchased a non-member ticket and require BACB CEs, a flat fee of $50 will be charge for the event, regardless of the number of sessions attended. Delegates will be required to track the sessions they attend via the conference app.
