The Do Better Field Guide | Sydney | October 16–17, 2025

The Do Better Field Guide is a 2-day immersive workshop designed for behaviour analysts and professionals who are ready to evolve their practice but feel stuck between old models and new values. This high-impact training blends evidence-based frameworks with practical tools to help you apply modern behaviour analysis in real-world service delivery.

Led by Dr. Megan DeLeon (Miller), founder of the Do Better Collective, this workshop goes beyond theory. Participants will take part in interactive activities, case study analysis, small group problem-solving, and guided use of implementation tools. You’ll have repeated opportunities to apply concepts to your own work, receive feedback, and build a personalised plan for integrating these practices into your setting.

A central focus will be on understanding the phases of service delivery as a way to determine the appropriate entry point for each client. We will examine how to assess connection, regulation, and foundational skills before deciding when and how to introduce language development, executive functioning, or other skills from common assessments, ensuring supports are relevant, respectful, and effective from the start. Together, we’ll explore how to support connection and co-regulation, and how to individualize environmental supports and instructional strategies across the age span. Whether you work in homes, clinics, schools, or communities, this workshop will meet you where you are and give you what you need to do better in practice.
