Reinstatement of membership

A former member is someone who has not been a member with the Association for up to 3 years. Former members who held Professional, Affiliate, Student, or Supporter memberships are not eligible for reinstatement of membership and must submit a new membership application and meet the current membership requirements. Former CBA and CBAU members who resigned their membership or moved to non-practicing status can apply to have their membership reinstated to their former category by following the reinstatement requirements outlined below, or submit a new application for a different category of membership. If they are no longer a former member, that is, they have not been a member for longer than 3 years, a new application must be submitted and the person must meet the current membership requirements. Please review the Non-Practicing Policy and Membership By-Laws to determine if your membership is eligible for reinstatement, and for information relating to reinstating your membership. If you are eligible for reinstatement of membership, follow the steps below. The member who is reinstated will retain their original membership number but will be given a new certification date to reflect the date of membership reinstatement.
