Abstract

In the intricate puzzle of educating children with neurodiversities, the fusion of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) and Organizational Behavior Management (OBM) has been a transformative force at Puzzle Box Academy. Over the span of a decade, we've witnessed the profound impact of integrating these disciplines into our educational framework. Additionally, we have enhanced ABA and OBM practices because of our education framework. This keynote presentation delves into the synergistic relationship between ABA, OBM, and high-quality education for neurodiverse learners. This presentation transcends theoretical discourse, offering tangible insights gleaned from real-world application. We unveil how ABA and OBM methodologies have been interwoven with our educational practices, not merely as abstract concepts, but as vital tools enriching the lives of children, their families, and our dedicated staff. Through compelling anecdotes and empirical evidence, we showcase the transformative journey of Puzzle Box Academy, illustrating how these principles have become the cornerstone of our mission and the profound implications for fostering growth, empowerment, and inclusivity in the realm of neurodiverse education.

Biography

Dr. Rodriguez is the Executive Director of Strategic Growth at Puzzle Box Academy based in Melbourne, Florida, USA. Dr. Rodriguez is a Board Certified Behavior Analyst and an International Behavior Analyst, supporting families and professionals in the practice of ABA. With over twenty years of experience, his career includes providing consultation and strategy execution to Fortune 500 companies across the globe, managerial and executive leadership roles for mid-size and large organizations in consulting firms, specialty chemical companies, education, and human services. Dr. Rodriguez has lead initiatives in online learning for a private education company, launching startups as a CEO of a venture capital company, and providing education and independent consultation in Organizational Behavior Management to various industries around the world. Dr. Rodriguez presents regularly at national and international conferences, exclusive private events, and consulting to executive management teams. He has published articles in peer-reviewed journals, magazines, and online mediums to disseminate the powerful science of human behavior applied to the workplace. Dr. Rodriguez has co-authored the books OBM Applied! A Practical Guide to Implementing Organizational Behavior Management, Quick Wins! Accelerating School Transformation through Science, Engagement, and Leadership, first edition” and OBM Entrepreneur: Launching Your Own OBM Practice. His latest published work as a sole author is “Organizational Behavior Management: A Practitioner’s Guide to Making a Positive Difference” in its 2nd edition, and Seven Synergies: Lessons Learned to Making a Positive Difference in the Workplace…and in Life.  Dr. Rodriguez also serves a leadership position in the non-profit Bridge to Tomorrow, an organization dedicated to helping neurodiverse students receive scholarships to assist in their education. Currently Dr. Rodriguez is working on several applied research projects in leadership, organizational behavior management, and clinical applications of behavior analysis at Puzzle Box Academy. He is also writing two new books on leadership and ethics
