Call for Abstracts

The ABA Australia is a professional organisation that seeks to assist in the development and advancement of the field of behaviour analysis within Australia through research, education, and dissemination of information.

Our 2020 Conference offers a unique opportunity to showcase the science of Behaviour Analysis in terms of its wide application and relevance worldwide and in the Australian context. We are looking forward to having a diversity of researchers, professionals and academics currently working in the field of Behaviour Analysis, both here and internationally, share their work. It will also provide an exciting and wide range of learning opportunities for anyone interested in the science of Behaviour Analysis. We would like to invite you to consider participating in what is sure to be an amazing event.

Do you have research to present? A project you are working on? We would love to hear about the great work you are doing in the field of Behaviour Analysis and provide an opportunity for you to share it with our delegates at our 2020 Conference in Sydney on 25th and 26th July.

New this year, break out sessions to present clinical cases. Have an interesting applied case, but the lack experimental control for a research presentation? Don't worry, we have a new session dedicated to clinical case presentations.

Submissions will be open in December 2019 for posters, papers, clinical cases, symposiums, and panel discussions

Sumission Types

BACB TYPE 2 CONTINUING EDUCATION

ABA Australia is interested in providing Type 2 Continuing Education (CEs) to Board Certified Behaviour Analysts (BCBAs) or Board Certified Assistant Behaviour Analysts (BCaBAs) for our annual 2020 conference. If you are a BCBA or BCBA-D in good standing OR meet the criteria below, we encourage you to complete CE application when you submit your presentation.

To qualify as BACB Type 2 CEs, a presentation must:

  1.     Cover behaviour analysis theory, methodology, or practice.
  2.     Further or maintain the skills or knowledge of BCaBAs, BCBAs, and/or BCBA-Ds.
  3.     Adhere to the BACB Guidelines for Responsible Conduct during the presentation.
  4.     Presented, co-presented, or supervised by an individual who meets BACB CE instructor requirements.
